I’ve been quietly building a collection of blocks from the Milky Way Sampler QAL from Alyce at Blossom Heart Quilts.  It is a very fun series of stars and I’m making two quilts (one for school auction and one for home).

This block, called Betelgeuse, got interesting with its bulky seams.  The paper piecing process is very relaxing and I find these are very fast to roll out.

3 months of blocks left before quilting time.  Will be a pretty quilt when all said and done!
