Slowly making progress on multiple projects, with encouragement from The Inquiring Quilter. If you recall, I noted on Wednesday Wait Loss 31 Feature that I had been the newbie highlighted in Jennifer Fulton’s blog. What a delightful surprise and a nudge to my keeping myself accountable on my projects!
With that in mind, here’s a quick review of my weekend work and after work time progress.
- First up is the fifth block from the Merry which you can find details here: I Wish You a Merry Quilt-Along First Block. He isn’t quite finished yet and will get a proper post of his own with all his wonderful features completed!
- Work continues on the Magnolia Mystery Quilt-along. Instructions were posted on Thursday for the first set of sewing instructions…72 HSTs. I’m about a third way through sewing with all the trimming saved up for this coming weekend.
- I’ve also been steadfast about cutting pieces for 2-3 blocks for the Have a Jolly Little Christmas QAL. I generally finish those blocks before cutting again. I had purchased fabric this project FOREVER AGO. The Wednesday Wait Loss inspired me to get going and I’ve finished two more blocks. Hurrah! Are they not the cutest blocks?
- And wrapping up my progress, I really want to get three quilted flimsies finished in the next month which only need their binding! So I whipped up the last of the bindings and I’m ready to go on stitching to the tops any time I free up my machine. Aren’t they pretty? Now to debate which order to finish them in.
Great week and look forward to getting a few more things done over the weekend.
